Well, just let me get the good thoughts out first. I went there Saturday, in the afternoon thru the drive thru. The line was fairly long, but we moved alone pretty good. It wàs worth the wait, because the slides beef was awesome, jucy, tender, great. All condiments good. But, I went to get the b chickenvfor my wife. I was dry, hard as a rock, and if I soaked in that great barbaqe sauce for several hours which I did, I could still see she was unhappy. 😾 So what can I say, but Saturday at the House. Just so you know.

In order to give a proper review, I would have to say that this is the essence of Texas Barbecue and the best barbecue joint in Fort Worth. I've been going here for decades and received a generous discount when I visited home from Active Duty. Thank you Railhead Fort Worth! (Coldest beer in town = True)

I celebrated my graduation this evening in this great place. Well we enjoyed a marvelous evening and the venue was unquestionably the reason for that outstanding event. The crew contributed in a splendid way, the cuisine was tasty and my guests were so thrilled. We shall absolutely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Simply THE BEST Brisket EVER!!! Sandwich hasn’t changed since they had the drive thru beer cruise 30+ years ago. I was truly one of the first fans. Missed it living in Pittsburgh!!!

Food is not bad. Prices are comparable. Always crowded. In door and out door seating. Feels like a cafeteria. Nice staff.

I adore this venue very much. there is a special air. The kitcen is tasty. the service is powerful and the personel is friendly. The pay is decent. profoundly recommend.

Not as good as it once was. Wish it had a stronger smoked flavor. Brisket was about average. Ribs were very good though. They don't have the typical cowboy pinto beans I expect at a good Texas BBQ...that subtracted some points for me. Coleslaw and potato salad we're just average. The food is good, but not knock-your-socks off great. For being called a smokehouse, I expected authentic flavorful smoked meat...this fell short.

Another great time a railhead. The food was spectacular the service most excellent and the bartender was very friendly. Had a great time having lunch with couple beers with my friend Dana.

The Railhead is a staple for good BBQ brisket. It is Affordable and if you're with more than a couple of people order the tray of fries instead of a single order. Free refills on soft drinks it's a great place to be

Great BBQ. One of the best around. This place is OLD SCHOOL COWBOY COOL! Great military discount. My favorite is the CHILI they serve during the non summer months. You wont find any hipsters at this place. Great mix of cowboy hats..college students..military usally at this place.

Absolutely love this place! My coworkers and I go here almost every Friday for our lunch break. The food is awesome and the atmosphere is too, even during the busy lunch rush.

We are down on a work job from Wisconsin. If you want a place to eat great smoked meat, this is it. We've visted here 2 times already this trip and will again at least one more time. The beef brisket is great, and the ribs are amazing. Get the 2 meat dinner or the sandwiches when you come here. Great friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, and very relaxing environment.

Been here once, the brisket sandwich was okay. Gonna come back for a proper dinner and try more meats without bread. Your coleslaw was not amazing. If you potatoe salad follows suit, next visit might be my last.

Very good experience. Being from Austin and having a high bar for barbeque, it’s hard to earn 5 stars from me, but I have no complaints! All around good food, service, and atmosphere.

I love good smoked brisket. This place does not have good brisket. The outside of it looks like Texas brisket but the inside taste like oven roasted roast beef - no smoke flavor. The rest of the food is good and the atmosphere is great.

Considering restaurants are adjusting to new regulations,, I am very pleased with our meal and service. Thank you Railhead for a great birthday dinner.

Great BBQ and a wonderful down home and friendly atmosphere! Large portions for a very reasonable price. The brisket was very moist and tender, just as good Texas Brisket should be! The sausage and sides were all great and finished off an excellent meal. I will definitely be back, this is a great, local BBQ joint! Don't forget to grab a souvenir cup too!

I visit this place a lot since I work in the area. I love how their service is always excellent and they keep the place clean all the time. Prices are reasonable and they serve generous portions.

Pretty good. The jalapeno cheddar sausage is really good but very spicy and the brisket was a little dry.

First time coming here and love the food. I got the brisket sandwich w/fries and my husband got the rib plate meat was so tender falling off the bone, they give u alot of fresh cut fries I couldn't even finish them. Unlimited refills on drinks fast service and they have a drive thru!!🤩 Will definitely be back.

The food was great but the staff was very rude. I felt as we where bothering then by being there. In the past the where friendly and helpful but not today. Maybe too hung over from last night Supper Bowl Game.

Absolutely delicious Texas BBQ. Everything was on point. Tried a few ribs from another plate and was about slapped out of my chair from the deliciousness. Best ribs I have ever had hands down.

Best ribs in Fort Worth. The brisket is very good, as well. Sausage, oh the sausage! If there's a line, don't worry about. They move things along quickly. Eat at Railhead. There's no other conclusion.

Ordered a sandwich plate which is shown coming with 2 sides. I orded fries and beans. Was charged extra for the beans. I heard later that fries is considered 2 sides. Was not told that at checkout. To me 2 sides is what it says. Barbecue was not that goog.

This place is off the rails delicious!!! So very good. Did drive thru and girl was very nice and I did not wait long at all.I wish I did get a little more of the great BBQ sauce for my ribs. The lil container was not enough. Other than that I am super pleased. Thank You

Tasty BBQ! Has upheld its reputation for tasty food for years. Next time I'm getting the ribs, changing from the chop beef sandwich. Has a good old boy, Texas atmosphere.

Line was long for drive thru but food was good once I got home Rave reviews from mom.

The sliced beef sandwich tasted good but it seemed like some of the meat was undercooked. Also, I went to the drive thru because I was pressed for time. Bad move. I spent 10 min sitting in the drive through and that was AFTER my order was in.

Great food, great prices and fast service made this a good meal. I had ribs they were good with sauce on the side...if they aren't going to chat the sauce on the ribs then I prefer them with sause on the side. I will definitely be going to this place again.

I've been coming here since they were in a red barn about a mile west of their current location. Their food is so memorable. The ribs and chopped beef are their best items.

This restaurant has what (might) be the best turkey I've ever had in my entire life. Holy heck.
